The Orton Group, Inc. was organized in 1985. Many of the Agency’s clients have utilized The Orton Group’s services for over twenty years. Those firms include the Strong Automotive Dealerships (Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen), Blue Stakes Utility Locating Service, Valley Mental Health and the Intermountain franchise group of Wendy’s Old Fashioned Hamburger Restaurants. Today, average client tenure exceeds ten years.
The Orton Group counts many other successful organizations and corporations among its clients. Some of those partners include: Cache Valley Electric, Utah Department of Health, Union Pacific Railroad Health Systems, Mt. Wheeler Power (Ely, NV), Moon Lake Electric (Roosevelt, UT), Zions Bancorporation and Wendy’s Restaurant groups in Idaho and Wyoming. In 1993, the Agency organized a public relations subsidiary to provide publicity and press relations, community relations, crisis management, special event promotion, financial and market relations, opinion research services and public affairs research and reporting.
The Orton Group has earned awards for marketing and creative excellence from many industry organizations including the American Advertising Federation, Salt Lake Advertising Club, American Print Producers Association and Public Relations Society of America. Agency principal, Larry Orton has been showcased in several national advertising publications including Advertising Age, ADWEEK and Financial Advertising News.
